Age Limit
The maximum age for individuals applying for this opportunity is 64 years as of the final date of application. This means that applicants who are 64 years of age or older on the last day of the application period will not be eligible to apply.
Tenure
The initial duration of the contract is six months, and upon completion of this period, it can be extended for up to six additional terms. Each term will also last for six months, and the extension will depend on the mutual agreement of both parties. However, the contract will automatically terminate once the candidate reaches the age of 65, irrespective of the number of terms completed.
Salary
The remuneration and allowances for the selected candidates will be as per the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance. Please note that no increment or dearness allowances will be provided during the contract period.
Eligibility Criteria
For Consultant in A.D. Level:
- Candidates should be retired from Central/State Govt./Central or State P.S.U.s/Research organization with a minimum substantive grade of level 8 of the 7th C.P.C. in the C.D.A. Scale or equivalent I.D.A. Scale or holding an analogous post or above.
- Knowledge of working on a Computer is a must.
- Preference will be given to applicants from DoT/BSNL/MTNL backgrounds.
For consultants at the J.T.O. level:
- Candidates should be retired from Central/State Govt./Central or State P.S.U.s/Research organization with a minimum substantive grade of level 7 of the 7th C.P.C. in the C.D.A. Scale or equivalent I.D.A. Scale or holding an analogous post or above.
- Knowledge of working on a Computer is a must.
- Preference will be given to applicants from DoT/BSNL/MTNL backgrounds.
Selection Process
The process of selecting candidates for a particular position will involve a Personal Interaction/Interview, where the interviewer converses with the candidates to assess their suitability for the job. The Interview may involve questions about the candidate’s work experience, skills, educational background, and other relevant factors essential for the job. Based on the Personal Interaction/Interview results, the interviewer will decide whether to hire the candidate.
