Educational Requirements

The applicants must possess a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a government-recognised university or institute. The degree should be in one of the following specialisations:

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Instrumentation & Electronics Engineering
  • Civil Engineering

For General and OBC category candidates, a minimum aggregate of 60% marks is required, whereas for SC/ST candidates, the minimum aggregate is 55%. Candidates who have obtained their degrees in the year 2021 or later are eligible to apply. This also includes candidates who are expecting their final semester results by August 2024.

Age Criteria

The maximum permissible age for applicants is 30 years as of 1 July 2024. However, there is a provision for age relaxation. SC/ST candidates are eligible for a 5 year age relaxation, and OBC candidates (not belonging to the creamy layer) are eligible for a 3 year age relaxation.

Selection Procedure

The selection process for the position of IFFCO GEA comprises the following stages:

  • Preliminary Online Test: All eligible candidates will have to appear for an online test. This test will be conducted in an open environment, and candidates will use their own resources.
  • Final Online Test: Candidates who clear the preliminary test will be shortlisted for the final online test, which will be conducted at designated centres in various cities across India.
  • Personal Interview: Candidates who pass the last assessment will receive an invitation for a face-to-face interview.
