Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following skills and experience:
- Java/J2EE Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in Java/J2EE is required. This includes deeply understanding the language’s syntax, semantics, and idioms.
- Hands-on Experience with Java 8/J2EE, Web services, Spring, and Spring Boot: Practical experience with these technologies is crucial. The candidate should be able to design, develop, and maintain applications using these technologies.
- Database Proficiency: Proficiency in databases like MySQL, Oracle, etc., is required. This includes designing database schemas, writing complex queries, and optimising database performance.
- Version Management Systems: Familiarity with Version Management Systems such as Git, SVN, etc., is necessary. This includes managing code versions, resolving conflicts, and understanding branching strategies.
- Requirement Gathering, Design, Implementation, Unit Testing (JUnits), Deployment, and Maintenance: Strong skills in these areas are required. The candidate should be able to gather requirements from stakeholders, design solutions, implement them, test their functionality, deploy them, and maintain them over time.
- Experience with Ticketing Applications: Experience with ticketing applications is a plus. This includes understanding their workflows and using them to manage tasks and issues.
- UNIX, Shell Scripts Knowledge: Knowledge of UNIX, Shell scripts, etc., is a plus. This includes writing and debugging shell scripts and performing tasks in a UNIX environment.
- Business Intelligence Solutions: The ability to connect business drivers with successful BI solutions is required. This includes understanding business needs and designing BI solutions that meet those needs.
- Critical Thinking and Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The candidate should also possess strong critical thinking skills, enabling them to solve complex problems.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities are required. The candidate should be able to analyze problems, identify their root causes, and devise effective solutions.

The qualifications required for this position are:
- 5+ years of overall IT experience
- 15+ years of full-time education
- UG: BCA in Any Specialization, B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization
