IAF Agniveer Vayu Musician Recruitment 2024
Candidates who meet the requirements will undergo a selection process during a recruitment rally scheduled from 3 July 2024 to 12 July 2024. The rally will be held at 3 ASC C/ O AF Stn Kanpur and 7 AS, No. 1 Cubbon Road, Bengaluru.
Individuals interested in participating in the recruitment rally must complete the registration process for the IAF Agnipath Vayu web portal. The registration period will be from 22 May 2024 to 5 June 2024.
Process of Selection
The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the following tests:
- English written test
- Proficiency test in playing musical instruments
- Physical Fitness test
- Adaptability test-II
- Medical examinations as per the IAF guidelines
The list of provisionally selected candidates (PSL) will be released at the recruitment rally location on 11th November 2024 and will also be available on the CASB portal.

Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates can verify if they are eligible to enrol and participate in the recruitment event for the IAF Agniveer Vayu (musician) recruitment campaign.
Age Limit
Candidates born between 2 January 2004 and 2 July 2007 can register.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have achieved passing marks in the Class 10th or an equivalent course from a recognized board and school. They should be able to sing a complete song with accurate tempo and pitch. Additionally, they must be capable of performing a preparatory tune and any of the notations specified in the notification. Proficiency in playing any one instrument listed in List A or B in the notification is also mandatory.
Musical Experience Certificate
Candidates can have any of the following experience certificates:
- Experience certificate of Grade 5th or equivalent or above in the mentioned instrument from a recognized music institute.
- Certificates of participating or wards at various music events.
- Candidates performing Carnatic Classical or Hindustani music from any recognized industry must hold a diploma or equivalent certificate in the music field.

Required Documents
