Indian Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2024
Indian Bank has announced openings for its one-year apprenticeship training program and encourages eligible candidates to apply. The bank is looking to bring on board 1500 Apprentices across various states in India. The application process is straightforward and can be done online. Applications can be submitted from July 10, 2024, up to July 31, 2024. It’s important to note that each candidate is allowed to apply for the apprenticeship in just one state.

The stipend for selected candidates will differ depending on the location of the Indian Bank branches. Trainees working at metro/Urban branches will receive a stipend of ₹15000, while those at rural/semi-urban branches will receive ₹12000.

Eligibility Criteria for the Recruitment
Candidates who wish to apply for the Indian Bank Apprentice Recruitment must satisfy the specified eligibility criteria:
Nationality
- The candidates should be citizens of India, or they could be from Nepal or Bhutan.
- Refugees from Tibet who arrived in India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India are also eligible.
- Individuals of Indian origin who have migrated from countries like Burma, Vietnam, Zambia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and East African countries such as Kenya, Zaire, Tanzania, Uganda, and Malawi and intend to settle permanently in India are eligible. However, they must have an official certificate issued by the government confirming their eligibility.
Age Limit
- Candidates should be in the age group of 20 to 28 years as of the specified cut-off date.
- There is a provision for relaxation in the upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/PwBD/OBC, etc., in accordance with the guidelines of the Government of India.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should possess a postgraduate degree in any field from a university acknowledged by the Indian government or an equivalent program recognized by the government.
- Candidates should have obtained their graduation certificate after 31 March 2020.
