CDS 2 Notification Out 2024
According to the UPSC calendar, the CDS 2 2024 Examinations notification is expected to be released by 15 May 2024. The application process will commence on the same date until 4 June 2024.
The details regarding the vacancies and seats will be disclosed in the CDS (II) 2024 examinations notification. The second round of CDS examinations is scheduled for 1 September 2024. Successful candidates will join their respective defence academies as commissioned officers.

Eligibility Criteria for CDS 2 2024
Candidates should ensure that they meet all the following eligibility requirements to apply for the 2024 CDS 2 Examinations:
Citizenship:
- Applicants with citizenship of India and Nepal are eligible to apply for the CDS 2 examinations.
- Individuals who migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Eastern African countries can also apply for the examinations.
Age Limit:
- The age limit may vary according to the defence academy, but the upper age limit is 25 years.
Educational Qualification:
- Applicants should be graduates of any discipline from a recognized University or institute.

- Register on the OTR platform if this is your first time on the website. The OTR registration is once in a lifetime; however, you can modify it within 7 days of your first final application for examination on the UPCS.
