Who Can Apply?
To apply for these jobs, you need specific educational qualifications depending on the role:
- For the role of Mining Overman, you need a Diploma in Mining Engineering.
- For Magazine Incharge and Mechanical Supervisor roles, a Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering is required.
- Electrical Supervisor role requires a Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Vocational Training Inspector requires a Mining/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Diploma.
- Junior Mine Surveyor requires a Mine Survey/Mining/Civil Engineering Diploma.
- For the position of Mining Sirdar, it is necessary to have completed Class 10th and hold a valid certificate of competency for mining sirdars.
Your age should also be between 18 and 30 as of 5 August 2024. However, you will get age relaxation if you belong to a reserved category.
What’s the Application Fee?
You don’t need to pay any application fee if you belong to SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-Servicemen/ Female categories. But if you are from UR/ EWS/ OBC categories, you need to pay a registration fee of ₹300/- online.
How Will You Get Selected?
The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by a skill test or interview. Your performance in these tests will decide your selection.
