The Indian Army seeks applications from unmarried male and female candidates under the Sports Quota. The recruitment aims to enlist sportspersons participating in International/National (Junior/Senior) Championships, Khelo India Games, or Youth Games from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2024 for Havildar and Naib Subedar posts.

The application process is offline, and interested candidates must submit their application forms to the Army Sports Control Board via post between 1 June 2024 to 30 September 2024 at 5:00 PM.

Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, candidates should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for the posts of Havildar and Naib Subedar under the Sports quota in the Indian Army.

Age Limit: The age limit for applicants is 17 & half years to 25 years.

Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification required for application is a class 10th passing certificate.

Sports Achievements:

  • For Havildar’s post: Applicants must be medalists at the junior/Senior level in National championships or International level representing the country. In team events, he/she must have represented the country at the National or international sports event. Applicants should have secured a medal in the Youth Games, Khelo India Games, or others.
  • For Naib Subedar post: Applicant should have won a medal in World or Asian Championships. The applicant should have won a medal in the Asian Games. The applicant should have won a medal in the World Cup/CWG. Applicant who has represented India in the Olympics and twice in CMG/ World Cup/ Asian games.

  • Download the Application Form: Download the application form on A4-size paper from the recruitment notification.
  • Fill Out the Application Form: Please complete the application form carefully with valid details, signature, thumb impression, and photograph, along with other documents.
