Procedure for Selection
Upon the commencement of the recruitment process for Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ posts by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC), eligible candidates are notified based on their CET scores. The commission then determines whether to proceed with selection based on the CET score or to administer a test. For Group D posts, the selection is made based on the CET score, whereas a test is conducted for Group C.
In situations where vacancies are up to a maximum of 50 posts, the Commission invites candidates to five times the total posts and three times the candidates for recruitment of more than 50 posts, based on the CET score/percentile by category. If the cutoff includes more than one eligible candidate, they are all invited.
For Group C and Group D Posts, points for social, economic, and experience factors, up to a maximum of 5, are directly incorporated into the CET score.
Prelims Exam Pattern
The Haryana HSSC CET 2024 written examination is composed of six sections. The written test for CET Haryana comprises 100 questions, all of which are multiple-choice. Each question is worth 0.95 marks, bringing the total score for the written exam to 95. There is no penalty for incorrect answers, but a deduction of 0.95 marks is made for any question that is left unanswered. If a candidate chooses not to attempt a question, they should select the fifth option.
